Campus to Corporate Certification (C2C) Program

A Biggest challenge for any B-School or college is the placement of its students, Corporate do not find the youth employable today not because they lack technical skills but because of self Presentation skills.

GIBS is proud to announce First of its Kind C2C Certification program, among B-Schools in India today, a 400 hrs of training program provides extensive practical exposure to the students and help them to get live learning experience which no other classroom training helps.

SAP (Systems Applications Products)

Project Management

Project management is a methodical approach to planning and guiding project processes from start to finish. According to the Project Management Institute, the processes are guided through five stages: initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Project management can be applied to almost any type of project and is widely used to control the complex processes of software development projects.

Short Term Program on Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Today, effective logistics and supply chain management has gained immense prominence in corporate boardrooms. In today’s complex world, getting products and services to the right places, at the right time is a key determinant of organizational competitiveness. Companies depend heavily on effective and efficient logistics and supply chain processes to make their products and services available to customers. It is hence, not surprising that a career in Global Logistics & Supply Chain Management is a popular choice among well-qualified MBA graduates.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management program aims to train and develop future leaders and managers in the fast-growing Logistics & Supply Chain sector. This highly integrated program enables students to acquire knowledge and understanding of multiple facets of supply chain business including purchasing, materials management, supply-chain management, transportation, customs regulations, foreign exchange, international trade and information technology among various other aspects.

The curriculum is designed in a way that it provides thorough understanding of concepts and processes while the learning experience is enhanced through industry visits and workshops.

Six Sigma

Six Sigma is a business statistical strategy, which is use to identifying defects and removing them from the process of products to improve quality. A defect is defined as any process output that does not meet customer specifications. Statistical measure to objectively evaluate processes and the history of Six Sigma is, it was founded in 1970s, by Mr. Bill Smith, “Father of Six Sigma”.

Six Sigma Definitions: It is a management philosophy focused on business process improvements to:

  • Eliminate waste, rework, and mistakes
  • Increase customer satisfaction
  • Increase profitability and competitiveness

Industry Live Projects

For all students to gain real time experience, it is necessary that they go through hands-on training. This platform is provided by the skills that they acquire from the short projects that they do from Small Scale Industries. This is an excellent opportunity for students to have close interaction with the industry-experts who frequently give them live projects to work on. On completion of their projects, the students are required to make presentation of their reports before the industry representatives, faculty members and students.

Short projects are allotted in all of the functional areas of management. The student is expected to study and understand how things work in real time scenario. Students are encouraged to do 3-4 industrial live projects apart from Summer Internship and Final Semester Project to get maximum Industrial Exposure.


While working on live and time-bound projects, they gain actual experience of the corporate culture. The process helps them develop professional attitude, sense of responsibility, analytical ability and leadership qualities. It also helps the industry in assessing the students’ performance and potential, on the basis of which pre-placement offers are often made.

Art of Living Youth Program

Internships & Industrial Visits

As part of the curriculum, each student takes up live projects with a company for a period of 8-10 weeks, after the completion of the first year. The summer internship is the perfect opportunity for students to apply the theoretical concepts learnt within the classrooms. It is an occasion for prospective managers to explore varied career opportunities in the areas of their interest. They get a better grasp of the important inter-linkages among different functions and develop a realistic managerial perspective on corporate workings.

Industrial visits represent important activities in any Business School that contribute to the achievement of various essential learning outcomes and programme objectives. Frequent Industrial Visits are organized in GIBS so that student will be aware about how various activities related to marketing, financing and human resource are carried out in company and this exposure will make them industry ready.

Workshops, Guest Lectures & Seminars

GIBS’s unique Workshops allow students to further develop marketable business skills in an intensive, interactive environment. Topics are selected through input from industry, program administrators, and students.

Guest lectures are an integral part of the pedagogy of GIBS. GIBS invites Guest speakers from premier management schools like IIMs and XLRI and several industry professionals to share their valuable insights from their loaded experience about current business issues, the challenges they are faced with and how they dealt with them.

Seminars offer students the opportunity to interact with top industry leaders, experienced business managers, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and small-business owners. Designed to introduce students to different aspects of business and industry, the series also includes information on career opportunity and development. A weekly post-seminar reception allows students to talk one-on-one with speakers and network with their peers.
